About COH
Children of Hope has been serving Johnson County and southern Marion County for over 15 years. Offering a comprehensive preschool curriculum and before/after care for working families, COH impacts the lives of children as they prepare for their kindergarten journey. We are a faith-based program utilizing hands on interactive learning to help kids gain the necessary educational foundations and experience God's love.
We are a Registered Ministry that accepts CCDF vouchers for full time students that qualify through FSSA. If you are interested in learning more about Children of Hope Preschool, come take a tour and meet some of our staff. We'd love to meet you and serve you and your family.
Our Programs

Classes for K4
Loving, Christ-centered preschool for children turning 3 by Aug 1. Our English-immersion, play-based curriculum runs 9:30 a.m.–3 p.m. and builds early reading, math, and social-emotional skills. Choose the rhythm that fits your family, either 3 days (Mon/Wed/Fri) or 5 days (Mon–Fri).
Classes for PreK
Kindergarten-readiness with a faith foundation for children turning 4 by Aug 1. Daily hands-on projects, STEM centers, Bible stories, and outdoor play prepare confident learners, 9:30 a.m.–3 p.m. Pick 3-day (Mon/Wed/Fri) for balanced weeks or 5-day (Mon–Fri) for full-time enrichment.
Before Care
Need an earlier start? Drop off as early as 7:00 a.m. for quiet activities and a smooth transition to class at 9:30. Available 3 days Mon/Wed/Fri or 5 days Monday–Friday. Perfect for the working family looking for a safe and encouraging environment.
After Care
Wrap up the day with snacks, crafts, outdoor fun, and plenty of supervised play until 6:00 p.m. Offered 3 days Mon/Wed/Fri or 5 days Monday–Friday. Perfect for working families who need reliable, faith-filled coverage.
